I listened to this in the early 80s living in West london when dub sounds percolated the neighbourhood and reggae was at its artistic zenith, so was ecstatic to find that it has just been reissued. This is not one of the Tubster's best known dubdiscs but in my opinion, it is the most evocative. It does not possess the flashy tecniques of later styles, nor the deep and compelling bass sounds of Scientist or the spooky, crazy aura of Lee Perry's work. Instead it is a gentle, modest, laid-back and very sweet album, best listened to very late or early in the morning. All tracks contain fabulous vocal samples, lovely guitar curlicues and subtle effects. It is delightful work, and I hope it finds new listeners to enchant.

if you're on the hunt for some good tunes and you come across anything by king tubby, get it. especially if you have a turntable and can get it on vinyl. i spin this on days when i've got a clear mind ready to hear every layer of these tracks. such a smooth album through and through.

I like this recording a lot. Purchased the vinyl and the sound is great - nice and warm. Worth the money!
