The Shadows of the Redwood is darker than Gillian's other books like the Faire Folk Saga. Keelie is a great as ever! New magics involved while new problems arise. Keelie and company must help the trees while in the mist of dark threats. Intertwining frindships and alliances build to make it all the more enyoable. On a must-read for fantasy lovers.
