Another solid collection from Grant

Well so far I have read two of the Shadows anthology books edited by Charles L. Grant and I must say they were both quite good. Grant has selected excellent stories and some are quite spooky indeed, there isn't a dud in the lot.
While some of the other anthologies only have a few strong stories (the mammoth book of horror series for example) Grant has chosen to keep out the filler resulting is a far better anthology, just got in volume 4 last week and going to work my way right through to the end. Something tells me I won't be disappointed.

Excellent Series, Great Reading

I have read several of Charle's Grants Anthologies and own all of the Shadows books - each volume has great stories from different authors and Charles Grant is the editor. Many are psychological with twist endings. These stories will not gross you out and are not sickening. They are often clever and make you think. I enjoyed these much better than the stories he writes.
