5.0 out of 5 stars A look into the abyss - and how easy it is to fall in, 9 Aug 2006
By Michael Lavocah (Norwich, England) - See all my reviews
Marie Louise von Franz, one of Jung's most famous followers, is known for making his work more accessible. In this vein, this is not an academic treatise, but a revealing manual of the ways in which people can fall into evil. The chapter on possession is especially interesting. von Franz also discusses the difference between morals and the demands of the Self with great clarity. A remarkable and insightful book which is not nearly as far away from our own world as we might think.
