I liked the main character in this book. Detective Liz Ramsey is a well-balanced individual who's on top of her game. Things change when she runs into the town celebrity. He's an odd character to say the least, but handsome and charming. Liz is falling in love with him even though he may be involved in the murder of a local prostitute. She can't stop herself. It might not seem rational for her to do that, but she's only showing her human side.
Liz struggles with her doubts and feelings as the story progresses and the body count increases.
It's an enjoyable read. At least it was for me.
