Format:Mass Market Paperback
I am also a Susan Johnson fan and have read all her previous books and buy them as they come out, but I have to agree with the other reviewer. I was disappointed with this book, the storyline has no real substance. The male lead is a selfish, unfaithful drunk and the female lead a weak woman who doesnt care who her husband sleeps with. This is not a romantic erotica book, the sex scenes are very repetative and unrealistic with no real connection between the two charachters. Not sure I will continue with Susan Johnson books in the future as they are now all beginning to be exactly the same!!

I'm a huge Susan Johnson fan but I think she's sadly lost something here. It seemed more like a book she had written just for writing's sake to fill a publisher's schedule than anything she actually felt passionate about. Don't get me wrong, it's still a good book and well written but it's just exactly the same as some of her others, with a man who wants uncomplicated sex but not committment and I got a bit bored really. Read some of her older titles instead - they're MUCH better!

Having read the first of this trilogy Gorgeous as Sin (Berkley Sensation) I didn't hold out much hope for this 2nd book. I was disappointed to find out that I was right.
This series is the first of Susan Johnson's books that I've read, and I won't be adding her to my reading list.
As with the first book, Sexy as Hell seems to have a very rushed storyline, which has been passed over in favour of sex scenes.
This wouldn't be too bad, except that they aren't well written, or interesting. In fact I found them to be repeatative, unimaginative and some of the descriptive text unexpected in it's use.
As with the first book, I can't recommend either this book or this series.
