Every book you pick up has some kind of quote from celebrities, so when you see Rock Stars giving sex tips, that certainly grabs your attention. The rock stars in question here are not your squeaky clean household names of today, but a lot of them will be familiar to most.
From Bruce Kulick (Kiss) to Courtney Taylor-Taylor (Dandy Warhols), Doug Robb (Hoobastank), James Kottak (The Scorpions) to Korn's Rob Patterson, and Lemmy from Motorhead, these are just some of the 23 rock stars who offer tips and some fantastic stories of their life on the road.
Author Paul Miles (who has spent years on the road with Motley Crue) has interviewed a nice cross-section of male and female rock stars ranging in age from their 20s to their 60s which gives readers of all ages someone to compare with, and he asks them all over 100 questions (which is broken up into 24 different categories), so you're getting various answers to the same question which makes this an interesting read from the beginning.
Beginning with safer categories like `Beauty & Attraction' and `Clothing & Lingerie', the topics get hotter as you prolong the anticipation of delving further into the book. There's discussions on `Copulation', `Enlargements & Extensions', `Fetishes & Fantasies', `Foreplay & Arousal', `Masturbation' and `Oral Sex' to name but a few, but at all times Miles keeps the reader interested without making it degrading or pornographic, and knows how to lighten the moment without having this as a serious sex manuel.
In `Daring Locations', Evan Seinfeld admits to having had sex up in the Eiffel tower, while Achy Slade admits in `Hygiene & Grooming' "I think a woman should have no hair on her body from her eyebrows down".
This book is full of advice, including Marriage and Divorce. "Once you start having a s**t while your girl brushes her teeth - that's time to get a divorce", while on knowing the right girl to marry; "If you open her car door on the passenger side and let her in, if she leans over to unlock your door on the driver's side, she's the one".
This book takes a refreshing look on a taboo subject and is not to be taking serious, and it should provide you with a happy ending and an exciting climax.

Well, a book like this is a pretty good idea, and obviously those who took part thought so, too. Fans may well wish to read about their stars' sex lives, and this will either increase the queue at the dressing room door, or cut it to nothing.
I suppose it also depends on whether you are keen on the stars who have been interviewed, because you either want to read about Mr or Miss X sexual preferences, or else you don't. Saying that, and mentioning Miss X, it is nice having a female point of view illustrated within the pages, only to read HER groupies are a world away from the attractive, painted ladies the guys seem to get queueing at their dressing room doors.
As a Motorhead fan, I bought this out of interest to read Lemmy Kilmister's answers, and as expected they are to the point, honest, tongue-in-cheek, and funny.
The good thing is, Paul Miles can get a volume 2 together, (and no doubt already has), and I hope he includes few more 'names' in it, as Lemmy is the only real Legend amongst the other much lesser-known interviewees, many of which I, even as a life-long rock fan, have never heard of.
A fun book to read, nevertheless, and as I said, at the moment, highly original.

This book really is hilarious and worth a read. It provides insight into some enigmatic figures and some of the anecdotes are really, really good!
