The format is great and the information really well set out and very readable. My criticism is that it goes all the way. I wanted to buy it for a 13 year old son and the first few chapters would have been brilliant - all about puberty, growth, fantasies, relationships etc. But it goes on - sex, contraceptives, abortion, giving birth and what to do with your unwanted baby. I wanted a book to help him see his confused feelings were a normal part of growing up. But I don't really want him thinking that watching your teenage partner give birth is also a normal part of growing up and he'd better get his head round that, too! I suspect if your child were unfortunate enough to be in that situation, then the front end of the book, with hints on voices dropping and crushes on teachers, would be equally redundant. My advice to the publishers would be to split it into 2 or 3 parts.
