I was pleasantly surprised by this. The twenty stories within are sexy and inventive, but also have a refreshing and distinctively British wit and cheekiness.
The only thing I didn't like was the cover, a woman who looks a bit like Jordan. If you look closely you'll see that her nail polish is chipped, too. The target market is straight women, so a hunky bare-chested man licking that heart-shaped lollipop suggestively would have been much more appealing. Oh, and on the back cover it says, amusingly- "Warning: sexually explicit". No, really? I hadn't guessed!
All the same these tales are really well written, modern and cliche free. While they definitely do give a girl all sorts of ideas, I think they would stand up on their own even without the erotic elements. Recommended.

Well, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the explicit nature of this collection. My favourite would have to be the tale of a Woodwork teacher who fantasises about his drama colleague, and who (literally) grasps the opportunity to act out his randy imaginings, when she asks him to fashion a set of stocks for the school play...
Okay, so it's not quality prose, but it certainly provides the kind of descriptions and language that will make any red-blooded reader squirm deliciously...

As a rule I don't read this sort of book, but I was pleasantly surprised. Without going into the ins and outs of the plots, the stories cover a pretty wide range: S&M, groups, homo and hetero-sexual shenanigans and, perhaps because of the range of different authors, do so in a range of styles and voices. I thought the length of story was pretty good: you don't want an excessively extended scene, just variety and a touch of filth. I do hope that there are people out there having as much fun, in as open-minded and occasionally ludicrous a way, as the participants in these tales. Its definitely a cheeky book worth a read and an occasional titter.
