This book provides an abundance of useful information on topic many children are embarassed by. The book shows sex in a friendy manner, which doesent come on too strong. The book tacles issues from periods and masturbation to homosexuality and pregnancy.
buy this book if you're a teacher or concerned parent.

I had this book when I was young (about 8, I believe). I found it to be incredibly helpful for a lot of different things I was experiencing.

It covers so much information in a fantastic way with great illustrations that made me feel a lot more comfortable with myself and what would be happening later on in my life.

It contains information about female and male puberty, which helped me understand that I really wasn't alone.

As another reviewer mentioned, some people may find it contains a bit too much information for pre-teen children, as it covers sexual relations and contraception. But it makes such a strong point about being a loving relationship (be that a heterosexual or homosexual relationship) and to talk about it and use protection. Like I said, it's incredibly informative and definitely taught me some great things that have stuck with me even now.

I recommend this to any one who feels that their child may benefit from having a reference book to go to instead of having to ask, potentially awkward questions.

personally i am keeping this for maybe next year when my youngest is over 10. It went into too much detail for that age, even for a 14 year old was pushing it! I have bought other books which are much better - written and illustrated.
