An imaginative and easy to use book for the beginner to the 1:12 doll dressing hobby. But it is quite basic and definitely not for the more experienced doll dressmaker. Try Sue Atkinson's 'Dressing and Making Dolls' House Dolls' and move one from there - although I have yet to find that book!

thanks 22 Jan 2009

The book was all taht it was supposed to be. The only thing that disappointed me was that there were no patterns for children. I wasn't disappointed because of advertising, etc. They didn't say anything about patterns for children. I was only hopeful. I am looking forward to making outfits for some miniature dolls that don't always have clothes when you get them and this greatly influences what some of them are worth and how I can use them. Thanks

Sewing Dolls' Clothes 9 Jan 2011

If I had a chance to see exactly what type of clothes this book had patterns for before I bought it, I'm not sure I would have bought it. I'm only interested in a few of the patterns, but can probably make revisions for what I want. It would have been nice to have variations listed, or better, pictured, so it would be of a broader value.
