Fun but slow,

This thing is great fun to paddle along a river but dont expect to be able to keep up with a standard rigid canoe. Just stick with pottering along happily looking at the scenery and you will have a great time.It comes with a carrying bag with thin rucksack style straps but you will regret carrying it more than a few hundred meters - this thing is heavier than you might expect. On the plus point it seems tough enough to cope with some serious abuse. The fabric covering on the top has a rough surface and given that it is wide it is almost inevitable that your fingers are going to rub along the top. This wears holes in your hands in minutes - wearing gloves is highly recommended.

This blow-up canoe is really good fun. But be a bit careful, if a beginner like me, not to stand upright in bottom of canoe on dry land when inflated. It is quite possible to puncture inner lining. I did this and the canoe has a slight leak now. Nothing horrendous and I'm sure the supplied repair kit would fix it.

There was a problem with the kayak when it arrived as the Pressure gauge was faulty and this caused a problem with the kayat. The company quickly sent another kayak after I phoned and arranged for the faulty one to be collected. Only issue was that Outdoor World website email address is not answered regularly byt them so something to think about if you have a problem. The 'dog and bone' is best form of communication
