This kayak line combines the stability, manoeuvrability and sea worthiness of a kayak with comfort looks and styling of a traditional North American Canoe. The raised bow and stern of the Colorado™, coupled with a double I-beam floor construction make these kayaks rugged and rigid - ideally suited for river travelling, fishing and sea discovery outings. The stability of the wide shape, together with the open style makes this a great range for beginners, and directional strakes with removable fin ensures easy tracking and manoeuvrability. Amazing value! 26 July 2010
Colour Name:Blue
I really don't understand how they can make this fantastic little boat at such a reasonable price!
Having called it a 'little boat' I should add that it is, in fact, pretty big! It can easily carry two adults and quite a bit of extra luggage, camping gear, or whatever and is broad enough to be very stable.
The material gives the impression of being very robust and I'm sure it will be able to withstand quite a lot of knocks and scraping. I've used it in rivers and in the sea and it's always functioned perfectly. We didn't experience the stearing problems others have mentioned... dare I suggest you may need a little more practice?
My only small criticism - and it's not enough to prevent me from giving it five stars - is the fact that Boston valves are not used throughout. Other people have mentioned this. I am concerned that the beach-ball-type valve in the centre air compartment is not really up to the standard of the rest of the boat.
Having said that, it's a great boat at a great price.

Great value for Money 23 July 2010
By buttons
Colour Name:Blue
bought this on a recent family trip to the lakes. I already had a Sevylor Canyon, and while that is also very good value for money, you can really see where the extra £100 or so has gone. It seems very robust, is very easy to maneuver and is stable - even with an excited 9 year old jumping about. I agree that that the floor valve is a pain.

That said, still delighted with it.

Sevylor colorado 28 July 2009
Colour Name:Blue
Really pleased with this product, I must admit it is of a lot better quality than i first thought.
Tried it out on the River Severn at Bridgnoth, plenty of people commented and said they were impressed and had not seen anything like this style of canoe/kayak before. Responded well to a very strong current.
If i had to find a problem it would be the tricky valve (hard to get at)to inflate the bottom section. The two side sections are easy to inflate as they are the Boston type valve. The bottom section is the same sort of valve as an air bed type. when you take the air pump out air escapes till you put the stopper in, which makes it difficult to get it to the recommended pressure of 100/mbar. (But that is being picky) Packs down to the size of a small suitcase, and still room to put a footpump in the bag.
Storage for camping equipment is limited, a net bag which comes with the product which attaches to the rear of the Canoe/Kayak is a good idea but would be able only to fit a small tent or bag in, plenty of pockets on the back of the seats which i thought was cool, to store cameras drinks snacks etc.
You will not be dissapointed.
