I've just finished reading this and I couldn't put it down, none stop action that never lets up. I would place Simon Kernick somewhere between Lee Child and Harlen Coban for the writing style. The story starts with Tyler waking up in bed with the headless corpse of his girl friend next to him with no idea of where he is or any of the events leading up to this and a tape is there waiting for him which shows that he is the one who killed her. This seems impossible to him because he had no reason to kill her and he was madly in love with her too. So begins a frantic race over the next twenty four hours to find out what's really going on,the words just fly off the page and you won't be able to read them fast enough as Tyler finds he has been set up for murder, from the first page to the last the tale moves with the momentum of a runaway train with thrills and plenty of violence along the way. With not one wasted word and chapters that blend seamlessly into each other this book is a pure adrenalin rush I totally loved it and would recommend it to any fan of thrillers. Great entertainment.
