The Ordnance Survey Explorer maps are larger scale (4cm to 1km) compared to the Landranger maps (2cm to 1km) and as such are great for outdoor activities like walking and cycling.
This Sevenoaks & Tonbridge edition is © 2007 and covers from Farnborough and West Kingsdown to the north, Royal Tonbridge Wells to the south, and from west to east runs from Biggin Hill to Tonbridge.
The area covered by the map is a great one for exploring by foot, such as the North Downs and scenic open countryside, and is an invaluable item for planning an enjoyable hike around the area.
The map is single sided and measures 127cm x 95cm fully opened. The paper quality is good, but it's not waterproof so it's worth considering the plastic coated weatherproofed 'active' version
Sevenoaks and Tonbridge (OS Explorer Map Active) if it's to be used in rainy conditions.
