Maca is a plant which grows naturally at high-altitude, in the Andes mountains of South America. For many centuries it has been a central part of local diets in Peru and Bolivia, where almost every part of the plant is used. Sevenhills Organics Maca powder is made from the root and lower stem. It grows at an altitude of over 4000m, where plants have to be able to take as much nutrition as possible from the ground. Maca root contains a wide range of amino acids in its protein, plus carbohydrate and fibre. It is also rich in minerals and contains Omega 6 and 9 fatty acids. Sevenhills organic Maca powder is exceptionally rich in Vitamin C, Copper, Iron and Potassium.

Product is good but 3 stars because on 5th November I bought it for £15.99 per kg, now it's £37! Seems like a fairly stiff price hike to me. Won't be buying again at that price.Published 15 days ago by Mr F.
