A stunningly brilliant debut album with not a single bad song on it. Matt Cardle's voice has an amazing rage of pitch, tone and style and it's used to advantage in the varied songs. Musicianship of all band members is beyond reproach. The album has been playing in my car for the past two weeks and I can't actually bring myself to change it.

It's worth mentioning that I didn't love every song on the first listen, some took a couple of plays before they started to grow on me. Now I just let the album play continuously and my passengers comment on how good it is.

Highly, highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Seven Summers - Fantastic 15 Dec 2010

The best album I have heard this year. Such beautiful songs. Buy it...even if you hate everything that X-Factor stands for. Matt has a truly beautiful voice, and the quality of the songwriting is wonderful. Nothing to fault here!

5.0 out of 5 stars pure class! 11 Oct 2010
Format:MP3 Download
As you might expect, I only came to hear about Seven Summers via front man Matt Cardle's exposure on the X Factor. I found out the band have videos of a few of their tracks on youtube and after a bit of a search found I could download this (amazingly!) unsigned band's debut album - most excited!

And what an album it is! It really is excellent and most definitely one of the best I've heard in a long time. Stand out track for me has got to be Way to Be, and other favourites are Youngblood and Without You, but to be honest it's one of those albums that you can listen to all the way through and each track is just great. Matt's voice is just amazing.

This album really deserves high praise and I hope the band get the recognition they really deserve. Keep up the good work guys and hope you are able to keep the momentum up regardless of the outcome of the X Factor.

5.0 out of 5 stars Can't stop listening to it! 20 Dec 2010
By Jess
Format:MP3 Download
Superb album. It's unusual for me to have an album on repeat play, and certainly not for weeks but I really love this. I would know Matt Cardle's voice anywhere now.

I hope that Matt sticks with writing and producing music like this because it's fantastic.
