4.0 out of 5 stars great little stories to keep my 6 year old's attention, 31 July 2011

normally my 6 year old won't listen to stories without pictures. I took this on holiday with us on my kindle and it provided an excellent short story (listened to very carefully) every night.

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor content for the target audience, 25 July 2011
This review is from: Seven Fun Stories for 4-7 Years Olds (Kindle Edition)
This was the first childrens book I bought to sit and read to my daughter. I was encouraged to see the picture at the start of each story but it went downhill from here.

The cover picture (1 per story) was the only picture to look at, my daughter being in the younger age bracket of 4 had nothing else to look at during the story; each time I turned the page there was the disappointment of another full page of text.

I perhaps could have coped with the lack of pictures, however I felt that the story was poorly written and really not for the ages specified.

5.0 out of 5 stars 4 year old loves the stories, 15 Dec 2011
By Craig C - Published on Amazon.com

I read one story to my 4-year old each night. She likes the concept of her daddy reading stories to her on the kindle. This is not a picture book as there's only one small picture at the beginning of each story, which comes through on my kindle touch without issue. Some stories are a bit easier for her to comprehend than others, but with simple explanation she understands what's happening. Most have a nice simple moral to the story and all take about 5 minutes to read. For $0.99 it's a great deal.

5.0 out of 5 stars So entertaining and cute!, 4 Jun 2011

These stories are so much better than so many that I've read to my daughter. They were entertaining to us both and she's asked to hear them again and again. I think they are worth every penny!
