In 1976, at the age of 19, the Spanish golfer Seve Ballesteros achieved prominence when he only narrowly failed to win the Open after leading for three rounds. Since then he has fulfilled his early promise and gone on to win many major tournaments, and has the capacity to excite the imagination in a way that few other players have ever matched. This biography traces his life from childhood to the present. The author talked to people who have influenced Ballesteros, players who have competed against him, and relatives and friends. My Husband was (and is) delighted with this historical record of Seve and his Golf. I searched high and low to get just the right book and found it finally at AMAZON and the fact it was a rare hardback edition was the icing on the cake!
