If you are thinking of trying R/C Helo's, read this first!,

This review is from: Setting Up Radio Control Helicopters (Radio control handbooks) (Paperback)
Having worked on Helicopters in earlier life, I wanted to explore the world of model helicopters and this book seemed a suitable place to start. From the outset the author dives into the subject choosing the first model and associated equipment. Having chosen the model the process of setting up the new helo was covered in an ordered fashion. Much is made of the need to seek assistance and rightly so. The book is packed with easy to understand hints, tips and advice to guide you through the processes required. I found this an interesting and informative read and would highly recommend this book as the starting point for all would be model pilots/engineers.

Not for novices,

This review is from: Setting Up Radio Control Helicopters (Radio control handbooks) (Paperback)
I bought this hoping that, as a novice to radio controlled helicopter flying, it would show me how to set up my helicopter ready for flying. However, like a lot of this sort of book, it assumed the reader has a basic understanding of the terminology used in the book, which I did not have, and that the reader has already flown their machine, which I hadn't.
For me, this book was not what I wanted at all and my helicopter is still in the box, somewhere in the loft.
