Rock Out with Sesame Street's Elmo
Choose which instrument you want LET'S ROCK Elmo to play and he "magically" recognizes which one you give him. Kids can also play along on Elmo's instruments--they're perfectly sized for little hands to beat on the drums, shake the tambourine or pretend to sing into the microphone. Play along while Elmo sings his songs! He sings "Elmo's gonna rock. YEAH!" in his Elmo Likes to Rock and Roll song! He also sings five other songs: What Elmo Likes About You, It Takes Two, Elmo's World, Rock 'n Roll Alphabet Song, and Sing Out!
Start Your Own LET'S ROCK Band
Elmo interacts with other LET'S ROCK! Instruments (sold separately), only one at a time. Kids can choose from the LET'S ROCK Elmo GUITAR, COOKIE MONSTER KEYBOARD, or GROVER MICROPHONE. Elmo plays the drums when you put his drums in front of him near his feet. Your child will have all the fun while playing along as Elmo plays and sings. And each time Elmo gets an instrument, he politely says "Thank you!"

I bought this toy on the back of the You Tube video currently doing the rounds; I hadn't heard of it before then but I'm glad I found out about it. Having purchased it for the considerable price, I didn't have particularly high hopes but thought it might be a bit of fun for my one-year-old nephew and his family. I couldn't have been more wrong. He loves it; his seven-year-old brother loves it; his Mum and Dad love it; and it only gets mildly irritating after a while!
The toy itself is clever and interactive, asking for various instruments and being very polite about it in the process. My nephew will happily play along with the singing and dancing! It feels a little flimsy, but has taken quite a battering (as toys given to one-year-olds do!) and shows no signs of giving up just yet!
One slight negative is that the attachments, which can be bought separately, are almost as expensive as the original unit so I have doubts about its overall longevitiy. Having said that, my nephew's so young I think he'll be happy with it as it is for a long time to come!

Fab toy - both kids loved it and it has encouraged them to play together, one child is disabled and he has had loads of fun with this - better than i thought it would be for encouraging interaction.

I bought this toy for my 2 year old daughter, on the back of the you tube videos and the numerous tv adverts (that had us all singing for days) I thought the Amazon price was a bargain, and I have to say... this toy made our christmas! When it was unwrapped, my daughter sceamed with delight, and didnt want to open anything else, without having Elmo sat with her.
We managed to get hold of nearly all his accompanying instruments and christmas was spent by the adults, playing with the toys to show her how it all worked. We had as much fun as the kids!
My daughter is now nuts about Elmo, she thinks he's real, because he is clever enough to know what she is playing with, and what she's giving him, and she now spends all day telling him she loves him.
It is without a doubt the best toy I have ever bought (and i have bought a lot for my kids over the years) It's so clever, well designed, and exciting for pre-schoolers. It's now turned us into a Sesame Street loving household.
