5.0 out of 5 stars Learning English and having a laugh! 9 Jan 2009
Format:Paperback
This is my favourite book by the author so far. I found it charming, whimsical and outragiously funny. It tells the story of a young English man who is working as a bellboy at a Maltese hotel where he fells in love with a beautifull guest. The book follows the young couple as they travel to South East Asia where they make several hilariously comical intercultural and 'interspecial' ( an encounter with a giant coackroach is one of the best moments in the book ) experiences. Again, the book comes with a very welcome extra, an audio version on CD-ROM.
