I have used Haynes workshop manuals for many years and generally found them a useful resource for DIY maintenance. They are far cheaper than official workshop manuals, which are too specialised for DIY anyway. The problem with this edition is that it does not cover diesel-engine powered Range Rovers, and I am critical of Amazon for not making this clear. There is no indication in the product details on the web site that this edition only covers V8 engined models. It is only stated on the back cover of the manual.

Suitable for different kind of tasks, which are divided into 5 levels of difficulty. Not the most complete one, but a must have for those who care for their Range Rover maintenance.

I find this book an excellent addition to the factory manuals. What these manuals lack in explanation, is found in this book. What the book may (in the eyes of some) lack in illustrations, is found in the factory manuals, especially in the exploded views of the parts catalogue. I nevertheless think the illustrations in the book are adequate. Recommended
