Product Description

Product Description

Anyone who works in a fabric-covered box can relate to Dilbert. Since 1989, Dilbert has been the touchstone of office humor for people all over the world. As long as there are corrupt businesses, inept bosses and downright loathsome co-workers, there is plenty to chuckle at. Convinced your co-worker is a demon? That your boss is incompetent? That your dog is out to get you? Dilbert believes you, and this book proves it.

About the Author

What started as a doodle has turned Scott Adams into a superstar of the cartoon world. Dilbert debuted on the comic page in 1989 while Adams continued working in the tech department at Pacific Bell until he was voluntarily downsized in 1995. He has lived in the San Francisco Bay area since 1979.

The 33rd Dilbert collection, containing ALL the syndicated Dilbert cartoons from 13 Oct 2008-25 Jul 2009 (and in order contrary to what another review says). All now in colour, and as usual, some very sharp humour in amongst it. Adams is on form. Recommended.

I was wary about buying this book because the title makes it sound like it is a collection of past cartoons reprinted but to my delight, these are not reprints, these are 08-09 cartoons not previously published, all are in colour and nearly all are to the high standard i have come to expect from Adams.

So why only three stars? several of the comics have been printed in the wrong order, making the storyline harder to follow, one moment dilbert is fired, then he is working in collections and then he is unemployed then he is working in collections again, you can tell from the dates at the side of the cartoons that this is the wrong order. i have noticed this in some of the other books as well which are the only let downs on an otherwise brillant book.

same ol' same ol' 11 Mar 2010

I am a big fan of the D man, but the best is over and if you have read the earlier stuff this is a bit like viewing 'the Simpsons' just retreads of the same ol'. It makes for passable reading in the smallest room, but methinks we have had our laughs. Thanks for all the fish.
