Product Description

Amazon.co.uk Review

The third in the well respected Serve Chilled series makes a notable stylistic shift from its predecessors with a heavy Balearic leaning, presumably a result of compiler Mark Doyle making his selection in warmer climes. This change of emphasis also extends to the running order, where the focus concerns itself more with flow as opposed to prior selections, which were built up from a foundation of music that literally leapt from the track listing. That said, those already familiar with Hed Kandi outings won' t be disappointed with a consistent quality throughout both two compact discs--highlights of which take the form of Rae and Christian's late-night easy listening "Not Just Anybody" and Nottingham's superb Fug, who offer up the title track from their superb album Ready for Us. --Kingsley Marshall

Chill out music of the highest degree are what Hed Kandi's compilations are following the sister albums Serve Chilled 1 and 2 ,It was hard to believe that the underrated Mark Doyle and his Hed Kandi team could advance on the sultry summer sounds of Serve Chilled 2 . They have advanced, this is another masterpiece of tempoes, moods and rhythms of soul , jazz , baleiric, ambient and trip hop.Disc two features predominantly stylish latin rhythms . This album must be heard , it's ideal for those after summer club night wind downs to take you in to the dawn and beyond, for the extended party insomniacs. The quality of this album sounds perfect played any time any where. Hed kandi really are producing the most powerfull selections of this genre .

Just add wine... 24 Sep 2003
Format:Audio CD
This blissed out mix of downtempo beats is perfect for that mellow evening in front of a roaring fire, or to watch the sunset by.
Zimpala's To The bass, Doremifa Girl by Snooze and FAC 15's Stay with Me Till Dawn are the dremiest choice on this release but there is not a bad track in sight.
Chillout fans have to own this - and those just getting into the genre should find every justification for building a chillout collection on the back of this album alone. A Hed Kandi stormer once again - but who could expect less from the funkiest label out there.

The new vocal mix of Salt Tank's 'Eugina (Sargasso Sea)' is epic, Outside's 'Saversham'is an instant classic, CD2's latin vibe is beautiful.
