Review

It's no surprise that Phil's book, Seriously Good!, is being hailed as a godsend for sufferers. --Mail on Sunday

Flick through Phil Vickery's new book and you'll find a feast of family suppers. All the recipes are gluten free too. --Good Housekeeping

A recipe for a gluten-free sponge cake that doesn't have a texture like a florist's Oasis, from chef Phil Vickery's new book, 'Seriously Good! Gluten-Free Cooking'. --Red

Product Description

Phil Vickery, a Michelin-starred chef, has combined with the UK's most prominent charity for people with Coeliac disease to bring you tasty and trustworthy recipes entirely free from gluten. These ideas are also suitable for the many people who are now trying a wheat-free diet to manage weight and tackle intolerances. The book contains a huge range of recipe ideas, from breakfast to outdoor eating and snacks to entertaining, even looking at the famously difficulty area of breads, scones and cakes, while also uncovering the 'hidden' gluten found in store-cupboard essentials such as stock cubes and soy sauce.

5.0 out of 5 stars The gluten-free diet bible, 13 May 2009
Phil Vickery's new book has revolutionised my cooking as before a lot of gluten-free recipes and suggested foods were bland and repetative. It is packed full of delicious recipes and can't believe it's all gluten-free. A lot of friends are now buying it even if they aren't gluten intolerant - it helps cater for your guests' diets whilst still having scrumptious food!

I made the orange and lime shortbread last weekend and my husband and 4 year old daughter could not tell the difference between regular and gluten free shortbread!

Phil Vickery at his best here!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Gluten Free Cookery Book, 21 May 2009
By Kiddo (Midlands UK) - See all my reviews
I have several gluten free cookery books but I have to say that this one is the best. I have found the recipes easy to follow and the results are delicious. I no longer have to cook separate meals for the family as the dishes in this book taste so good.

Thanks Phil Vickery, you are a star!
