If Batman had an umbrella, this would be it!

It is odd shaped for the more conservative, but it is like that for a reason, has I had the chance to find out in the recent gale force winds that swept trough Wales.

It does work, the aerodynamic shape helps you "cut" trough the wind and still protect you from the rain. It bends and flexes but does not break. And if you get "caught out" with wind from behind it's genius design doesn't let it bend backwards like all other umbrellas do.

Build quality is there, no slacks or noises, the umbrella feels very sturdy, so much in fact, I believe it could be used for self defence.

In conclusion, it is a high quality product, well designed and built, if you need an umbrella frequently this is the choice.

Really good build quality, feels more like a high-spec tent than an umbrella.
I subjected it to some extremely high winds (for England) last week and there was more chance of it being ripped out of my hands than it folding up (which is why they provide an elastic hand-strap I suppose!).

If you're trying to get two people under it it's not really big enough, this may be the XL version, but unless you've actually got your arm around the other person's shoulders then it's not gonna cut it.

A little on the pricey side for an umbrella but it pretty much sums up the phrase you get what you pay for. Opening the umbrella is simple and quick and the components feel top notch.
Originally I was dubious about the claims that the umbrella could handle winds up to 70mph, but it has no trouble handling the storm force winds we get here in Wales especially recently.
So if you need an umbrella and live in stormy parts of the world I highly recommend this umbrella, you won't regret it and it'll last for a lifetime.
