That's Abadden with an 'E', not Abaddon with 'O'. Just to save you any confusion. Abadden with an 'E' were the lucky winners of a competition that saw them grabbing studio tome with Trigger The Bloodshed producer Mark Daghorn. And he liked them so much, he bought the company. Abaddon with an 'O' (Tony to his mum), however, was the drummer with Venom for 20 years.
Back with Abadden with an 'E', and their debut album is coming out on Mark Daghorns record label, Rising. And an excellent debut it is too, chock full of punishing thrash metal, the likes of which is rarely heard nowadays. This young British four-piece certainly seem to have the chops to make a name for themselves as tracks like 'My Misery', 'Atomic Devastation' and 'Resurrection' show a facility for speedy riffs, precise soloing and enough headbanging potential to make the grimiest pit happy.
And, yes, that's Abadden with an 'E'.
