It's a scam. If you're expecting to get the US version and "Endless Summer" you're gonna get normal version of the EU game.

HASH(0x8c04f168) out of 5 stars This game is MARVELOUS 15 Mar. 2016

This is what, the 7th game in the Senran Kagura franchise, and the first on home consoles, and I must say this game looks gorgeous, every detail is bright and colorful, not to mention the babes, but lets put the babes aside for a second. If this game wasn't stuff to the brim with fanservice, what is this game? Is it worth buying or renting? Here's why I think that's a yes.

They did a damn good job on this game in multiple aspects, aspects you notice past all the fanservice.

Graphics:
Graphics on the ps4 are pretty amazing looking, everything is colored brightly, full of detail. They did a really really good job on making this the best looking game in the franchise, no thanks to the PS4 hardware used to it's best of capabilities.

Sound:
Oh wow, the sound is off the charts as well. The music is very upbeat and well made, and not to mention that incredibly catch opening song. The voice actors did a spankin' good job and the sound effects, like slashing, slamming, booms - oh! especially the booms. They make booms sound good and incredibly satisfying.

Story & Campaign:
I haven't played through the whole story to get a full impression, but story wise, it's very lighthearted and not to be taken all too seriously, but you can still have lots of fun with it. The campaign, as far as I was told, is a very long one, with lots of missions with replay value. After you complete a mission with the designated character, you can go back in with another character to relive the chaos. The dialogue is hilarious, like, insanely funny at times, especially when it comes to stuff from the boob-fanatic Katsuragi, and the masochistic Ryona. Ryona especially, she's so friggen weird and hilarious. Anyways, you'll have lots of fun with that

Online Multiplayer:
To be honest, I didn't expect much from this game in terms of multiplayer, but I was absolutely blown away by the vast amount of options you have in terms of online multiplayer.
For the PS Vita version of this game, you can play with up to 4 people online, with PS4, that more than doubles to 10! And there is lots to do.
-Points Battle: Basically you have a time, rack up as many points as you can before time runs out
-Shinobi Deathmatch: It's a Deathmatch, need I explain?
-Queen of the hills: Again, need I explain?
-Capture the bra: .....yah
-Shinobi Survival: Survive wave after waves of enemies, you can even earn prizes from this mode other than EXP.
and various other modes to goof off in.
The online Multiplayer to me seems to take a lot of inspiration in the PS3 game, Anarchy Reigns, if any of you have played that. That game is chaotic, fast pasted, crazy, and downright fun, and this game is all that, but with fanservice.
Not to mention, you can have up to 10 people, you can fill it with your friends, or bots, you can even throw in grunts to make the chaos even more chaotic.

Character Customization:
Wowy. I expected the customization to be good, but the mode is GREAT. The amount of things you can change on the girls is staggering, almost to the point of which you can even recognize the character from their original looks. You can borderline create your own character in almost a Soul Calibur 5 like way. Nothing beats the customization in SCV, by far, but this is very similar cause it just has SO MUCH to change, and this is NOT including DLC. I mean, what game have you heard of which you can customize your character with up to 130 different pairs of underwear?! 130!!! Underwear! What?!

Combat:
Combat is very fluent, pretty, explosive, fast, insane, and alot of fun. There can be like 50 enemies on the screen at at time and the PS4 handles that as smooth as butter. If you're familiar with the Dynasty Warriors series, this will seem very familiar. All characters don't feel the same, even though the core fighting mechanics are easy and can be used for any character, all characters have their own style of fighting. So most likely you'll have fun learning all the characters, instead of feeling you have to "main" on or three to get good at the game. trust, me, you'll have favorite characters, and there will be characters you dislike, but you'll be able to play all of them

And now.. Fanservice:
I am a weeaboo and I'm proud, let's make that clear now.
the girls are really cute, all of them... not to mention they are all super volumptuous in all the right areas. I swear the boob physics in this game. Everything shakes, boobs, butts, bellies (yes, bellies), hair buns(They even have hair bun jiggle, now that's sexy), and their clothing will be exploding and tearing all over the place. You remove clothing to transform, remove clothing to get more powerful. H'oh boy, I can go all day describing this to you guys. Albeit, there is no nudity, well.. there is but it's censored with a glaring light across their chest and hips in classic anime fashion. Not to mention I could swear most of the cast are perverts and will be constantly getting what we hope to get. Lucky bastards... Now this might tern some people away, for sure, not everyone is into exploding girl's clothing off, but if you can .... somehow.... look past it all, there is a great gaming experience waiting for you, and if you are into it.. well...
Welcome to the best thing in a long time.

I think I touched up enough on the PROS. this game, even though it's well made, is far from perfect, so let's go over the CONS.
-The Camera: the camera in this game is... wowy... Its bad. The camera tends to faze through walls a lot, blocking sight of the action, or suddenly become so close it's like it's first person perspective. Fear tight corridors or places with high walls, cause the camera will be another obstacle you must overcome.
-DLC: DLC's going to be heavy, if that turns you off. It's not much of a big deal to me. They even treat us by giving us two free DLC characters, but I feel like it's because they were for to take out 3 others. Ikkitousen characters had to be removed from the western release do to licensing issues. There is an oddity I'd like to point out concerning online multiplayer. Because JP players still play the ikkitousen characters, the ikkitousen characters were reskined and renamed ( I believe). Which begs the question, why couldn't they do this for us? I've never really heard of ikkitousen, but I loved the characters play styles. Hopefully there will be a loophole found in the future and we can get them as DLC
-Fanserive: A pro as well as a con. Yah, fanservice can get very creepy at times, even for me. It's an awkward feeling seeing these girls clothing explode and the screen zooms in on their flusters, teary-eyed faces, it kinda makes me feel bad at times, especially for my baby, Murasaki-chan :( And don't get me started on the stuff that goes down in the changing room, that is rant worthy, but I won't get into too much detail.
-Difficulty boost is a must: I suggest if your starting this game off, kick that difficulty to max or near max settings, cause this game's lower difficulties is pathetically easy. you'll finding yourself wiping out hordes of enemies and bosses without even taking damage, and I don't know about you, but I like a challenge in my games. I mean I just got finished playing Bloodborne, for peat sake.

Is this game worth buying?
In my opinion, yes. If you look past the fanservice, you'll find a very great and fun game to play either alone or with friends. there is so much this game does right, it makes me proud. The Senran Kagura series has always enticed me since Shinobi Verses, and now that I can play this on my PS4, baby, that's all I'll be doing

So, wanna buy this game?

HASH(0x8c2103a8) out of 5 stars Give Senran Kagura a chance! 16 Mar. 2016
By S. - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Video Game
When you think about it there isn't really all that much that's risque about this series. You have large breasts, insane jiggle physics, and clothing destruction. When you single those out you could be talking about another fun game like Dead or Alive for all anyone knows. As a female (who isn't bothered by fanservice) I really like this series. Not just the gameplay either, which I will say feels good when you get into it and eventually even gets addictive, I love that the vast majority of characters are strong females. They're not all your typical damsel in distress type that you get in a fair share of games. They all have different personalities too. Some are cliched, that's inevitable, but there are some pretty unique ones in the group.

For the first time in the series you CAN turn off clothing destruction. This allows you to have an experience that isn't bogged down by the cheeky side of the game. You'll want to turn it off for no other reason than to focus on the action elements Senran Kagura has to offer. The combat is the best it's been and with a giant roster of characters you'll find yourself wanting to master each girls' playstyle to it's fullest.

While the story has it's moments of fanservice and pervyness it's not really anything anyone should be offended by. It's usually so out there that it's more funny then offensive. Then there are those moments where it gets dark or sad and those are why you end up enjoying the story. Like all stories it's not going to mesh with everyone-- some will like it more than others. People like to throw around the "sex sells" argument but there is no sex in this game. There's not even any full nudity in the game-- it's all censored. I've lived in America my whole life and I can assure you there are far more offensive and sexual things in USA's TV, movies, music, and literature than anything that's been featured in Senran Kagura.

Senran Kagura is as sexualized as you make it. You can turn off clothing destruction and put them in full clothing or you can have them run around in bikinis, you can even buy outfits that are less or more revealing if you so choose to. There may be lots of moving and jiggling going on but these girls are tough and they can stand on their own. All things considered, this is a game with a strong female-only cast and they are more than capable of handling their own fights.

People just need to try it out before they disregard it for the initial impression it gives off. It looks like fanservice, and it is most of the time, but there is a soul deep down behind all that. And to anyone wanting to try it for more than it's fanservice I say go for it. I went for it and now I love this series for everything that it is, not just what it tries to sell itself on. It's a game that knows what it is but it goes beyond that to be so much more-- it's a fanservice game that plays like a full and well thought-out game. I'm not putting it on a pedestal and saying it's genre defining but it definitely doesn't deserve all the ignorant hate it gets from people. It's a humble little brawler, nothing more and nothing less.

People like to misinterpret it, Senran Kagura isn't being pervy about breasts, it's celebrating breasts. my real rating is probably an 8 but this game is going to need all the help it can get. It's being sold to a market that doesn't completely understand the culture and can't see it as anything more than what it is at face value. Don't be one of those people who judges the game on it's looks-- play it. It'll surprise you how much fun it is in ways that most games are.

Fanservice does not equal a bad game and Senran Kagura is proof of that. It's about time there were a game like it that manages to be fun and entertaining while having the subject matter that it does. It's the first GOOD game of it's kind and people will never know that until they play it. If you like sexy strong females like the cast of Dead or Alive or if you prefer Bayonetta, this game has something for you.

HASH(0x8c209990) out of 5 stars Great limited edition package 16 Mar. 2016
By Steven - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Video Game Verified Purchase
I'm going to focus this review on the extra goodies included with the Endless Summer Edition rather than the game itself, because there are plenty of reviews of the game and almost none of the package. And the goodies are indeed quite nice, easily worth the slight added cost over the download version (there is no physical copy available other than this edition). With Amazon's prime preorder discount, it actually ended up slightly cheaper than the download copy anyway. The box includes both a manual and reversible sleeve with very pretty art on both sides. XSEED has been doing the reversible sleeves on most of their releases for a while now and I think it's a very nice extra touch. The artbook has character profiles for everybody, an illustration section, and even a short series of comics with gameplay tips. And the soundtrack (2 discs, even) comes in a nice jewel case rather than the cardboard sleeve of the SV soundtrack. You also get a card pack (randomized) of one school, 2 cards for each girl in the school. The cards are shiny and have character profiles on the back, one describing personality and one describing how the character plays. The biggest negative is that Amazon did a poor job of packing it (just in a bubble mailer) and mine arrived slightly damaged, with dented corners in both the outer box and the artbook. Not enough to bother returning the game over (and waiting even longer for my preorder that already showed up after release day), but disappointing nonetheless.
