I bought one of these as I work freelance in TV as a Director. I needed a handheld mic for a job involving a presenter on the street interviewing people during a festival. This was absolutely ideal.
The build quality is top-notch. It has good weight to it, though not too heavy as to cause fatigue. It has a metal outer casing and the actual microphone head can unscrew and be replaced with higher or lower quality versions, depending on your needs (loud stage vocals, quieter interview situation, red-carpet work, etc).
The built-in wireless function of this handheld is compatible with my EK-100-G3-GB diversity receiver which I use with the bodypack transmitter (for a tie/lapel mic), so it all works together seamlessly. It's so easy to sync with the receiver simply by selecting "sync" and pointing the two devices at each other.
It requires 2x AA batteries, two of which are supplied.
If you're after a top quality presenter mic, I recommend this one.
