However, the microphone would not work with my Dell PC via the inline plug. It worked with a couple of other computers I own but not my main (1 year old newest PC). I called Sennheiser and they said sorry, we are not tech support for PC's so call Dell. I'm not paying Dell $50 an hour with a $50 minimum to show me how to fix the problem. So, I spent 4 hours trying to get my computer to talk to the microphone and finally figured it out since nobody at Sennheiser would help me. It was this simple: I just went to my microphone control panel and selected the headset instead of built in computer microphone. You would think Sennheiser could have told me to do that as they probably have people calling about this issue everyday. But instead, they essentially told me to go jump in a lake. It was pretty crappy of them. However, after less than two months of using it, the microphone snapped off rendering the device useless.
