Looks cheap, feels and sounds top notch,

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Programme (What's this?)
These aren't very exciting to look at but after twelve hours of Portal 2 co-op I can assure you they're comfortable, provide solid sound and clear speech through the microphone. The quality of the sound was actually well beyond my expectations for such a cheap product from a "brand" name.Because plugging them in creates new USB sound and microphone devices, separate from any existing sound card you might have installed, be aware you may have to adjust the master volume on your PC audio settings. I had a frustrating hour or so listening to my co-op partner, wondering why the maximum volume was so puny - I seriously thought it might be some EU health and safety measure to protect my hearing - until I discovered that the master volume was set at only 20% of maximum. Recommended!

Great for Dragon dictation,

Performance is great: I'm using these with Dragon voice recognition software, and they're working brilliantly. Windows 7 accepted them as plug and play devices immediately - no set up needed.I'd rate build quality as OK. There is a very long lead which has a small on/off switch and volume control near headset itself. The switch is marked, so you can tell if the mike is on, and which way to turn the dial to raise volume - obvious, but not the case with (for example) my HP headset. This headset is quite plasticky, with fairly cheap foam padding on the earpieces. Recording quality is very good, and the noise cancelling seems to be effective. Sound reproduction is only really suitable for dictation and conversation - you wouldn't want to listen to music on these. So, in all: Functionally, these are very good indeed. I'm not sure how robust they would be in the long-term, but for the price these do an excellent job. I'd be happy to recommend them - a good buy if you use your PC for dictation or communication. I needed a headset to carry around with me for my work, mostly for Skype conferencing. This one fits the bill.Likes ... - Easy to use - Comfortable - Good sound quality both input and output - Effective noise cancelling - Inexpensive - Lightweight and easy to pack away - not collapsible but the mike swivels out of the way. Dislikes ... - Nothing so far! Sennheiser PC36 USB Plug and Play PC Headset
