I recently bought this as I am home-based and spend 4+ hours each day on Skype with colleagues based in the US. I was sceptical before delivery however my calls using this headset are the clearest (for both parties) I have ever experienced. You can talk as long as you like and barely notice the lightweight headset and you still have your hands free! The wire is approx 8 feet long so you can easily move about / stretch your legs on long conference calls and the mic boom is easily pushed up out of the way should you wish to munch those crisps quietly...
Seems to work equally well with Skype and MSN Messenger. I've not tried with any others.
I cannot fault the product and have recommended it to many friends, all of whom have been equally impressed. I have never tried a bi-aural headset and prefer to have one ear free.

Bought this for work purposes. It's very light, the mike arm has a very nice action (feels like there's a ratchet in there) - it stays in position very nicely. It's comfortable to wear for quite a while.

Note that the mic arm comes down in one direction, making it a left-ear only headset.

Sound quality is good for VOIP, but it's fine for a little one-ear music, too.

I've used a Plantronics .Audio 310 Monaural PC Headset previously, which is a good headset for half the price of this one. Saying that, the Sennheiser feels nicer - the better quality is noticeable over longer durations.

Excellent sound as you could expect from Sennheiser coupled with a very good quality mike (have to reset everything on Teamspeak, but for the good of it !!) ...... The tightness of the headset is just perfect as a lot of others are just too lose.

Well I think you get the point, if you are looking for a monaural headset for VOIP this is what you need !!
A very good buy !!!

I can hear in Both ears

great value headset

Bought these because my other headphones have a ridiculously short lead so the first time I Skype'd I had to conduct the entire conversation about 8 inches away from my screen! Read more

sound good but not overly comfortable

Left ear only

No good as I need to use right ear - why do they not make it clear it's for left ear only !! - bought on-line so fat chance of returning it
