You Couldn't Get Better !!,
By
This review is from: Sennheiser CX 400 II Precision Noise Isolating Ear-canal Phones with Integrated Volume Control - Titanium (Electronics)
I decided to buy a pair of these after my cat bit through my other earphones, which were a pair of Sennheiser CX300II (which are very, very good). I was very dubious of whether these would be any better, because I couldn't see how you could get any better. Anyway after receiving the earphones and listening to them for the first time I was blown away, the detail you can hear is amazing, the bass is so much better than anything else I have ever tried and when you turn them up the music just fills your head with sound perfection unlike anything I have heard before.
In the pack you get six different sets of ear adapters (so you will find the perfect fit), a pouch, a cable clip and cable tie. Plus the volume adjuster on the lead is very handy. I honestly cannot see how there could be anything better than these, sound wise, full stop. Highly Highly Recommended.

Why do you want them?,

I bought them as replacements for my Sennheiser Eco Ear Canal Headphones - Black (which have been awesome) and lasted ages.
I walk about an hour a day listening to these and I really appreciate how you can have low volume and still hear over traffic etc. However, these suffer in comparison to the Eco because the cables are the same length to each ear and this does increase the sound effect due to friction slightly when moving around (as opposed to passing one behind your head) and that is the only reason for losing a star. I have found the Sennheiser Ear Canal range, such as these, are excellent on long haul flights and I think the sound control on the cable - which come with this model - will enhance their performance in this regard. To get them to fit, I find a snug ear bud and then swap it out for a slightly smaller one and that seems to give the best balance between comfort and noise isolation. The cable winder that came with it seems to be gimmick, I can't do anything useful with it. However, I always wind them up and pack them in the case when not in use. My last pair lasted ages. Compared with other earphones I have used, they seem to de-tangle almost magically (as did the Eco) when you take them out of the case each time - very much appreciated!

Where has the volume gone,

I've given the headphones 4 stars as the packaging, the overall sound and the noise isolation are good but I can't seem to get enough volume when I'm on the train.
Arrived on time and a good price.
