I have a set of CX400s which are an incredible set of headphones. I got my daughter to try them rather than her white Apple buds and she was amazed at the difference they made, so much so that I kept finding them stuck in her ears, which is not ideal! The CX400s don't come in pink so I got her these 300s, there is no real difference in quality if you are using them in noisy surroundings, and they still block out virtually all sound. Note that the 300s don't have the in-line volume dial, I find this useful so if you need it go for the 400s.Cable length is fine, build quality is, as ever with Sennheiser, excellent. Can't recommend them enough, I am amazed people put up with the standard headphones they get with their phone or MP3 player.

I have had 2 pairs of these headphones over the years and they never fail to disappoint. The sound quality - and in particular the base - that you get transmitted into your head by these headphones is immense and I would now have serious issues with using any other set of headphones. I highly recommend them.

when my ex vacuumed up her old set by mistake,i knew she'd love these as a christmas present.
she's over the moon with a completley new listening experience as compared to her old set
