Here's a change, I didn't buy these for music. My hearing was damaged recently and the higher frequencies are very much distorted; but I do like to listen to audio on my I pod and these CX300 phones are excellent. Speech is clear and detailed and the different sized adaptors enable me to fix the ear pieces precisely in the ear canal. They have really brought pleasure back to listening. Highly recommended is Robert Powell reading Somerset Maugham eastern short stories. You can join him in the jungle.

Having received these headphones several weeks ago I am pleased to report that they are excellent sound quality and very comfortable. I am unable to use the i pod headphones as they fall out of my ears but sennheiser have three different attachments which mean you can choose the size that fits you and now I can do my work with them firmly in my ears. Also, it blocks the sounds outside the ear so the clarity of music plus audiobooks is much improved.

I give them top marks and would recommend them unreservedly. Also, the price on the Amazon Site and Marketplace options are much better than getting them from High St outlets such as Argos etc.

These earphones are great, really good sound quality and I find they fit comfortably for me. They really are good at cancelling noise around you and I would definitely give it 5 stars!

I bought these to use with my Sansa Fuza mp3 player and the sound is amazing, as all the reviews I read before purchasing had indicated, a great improvement on the headphones that came with my player. The bass is good, sound separation admirable and in re-visiting old favourite songs I've heard elements in the instrumentation I never noticed before, such is the clarity. Definitely recommended.

I want to add though that if you've never worn earbud style headphones before you would do well to google for "how to wear earbuds" and find a handy video showing how to insert them for best effect - I was initially very disappointed with them because they hurt and sounded tinny and unpleasant, but there is a definite knack to seating them correctly in the ear and its well worth taking the time to find that out!

I spent a long time perusing all the reviews for all the various headphones and plumped for these, but the only slight critism was I thought that they were going to have one side longer than the other so that I would be able to put it behind my neck, cause I am a gardener and I dont want to chop them with secateurs as I have done in the past!!! Aside from that I find them very comfortable and am pleased with the sound quality . I have tried Bose, Sony's, Phillips amongst others( we wont mention the i pod ones!) and these I use every day, all day very happily. One thing that I feel that would make them even better is to have a built in volume control so one is able to turn the volume down if someone wants to talk to me instead of having to keep on taking them out with muddy hands! I do like the soft cord, and the angled jack which means that hopefully wont get damaged like the upright ones tend to. All in all I would defininately reccommend these especially at this price.

Comfy headphones that do the job. Occasionally drowned out by the odd passing bus but other than that nothing to moan about

Look good, sound good, good price, well made - massive step up from ipod headphones and also as an added bonus don't advertise to everyone 'come rob me I have an ipod!'

These are comfortable, great sounding, fun looking headphones.
But after owning two pairs I have found them to be quite delicate.
Both pairs I have owned started to develop a dodgy connection with my iPod after some usage (i.e i have to turn the bit that plugs into the ipod to improve the audio, as sometimes it only plays out of one ear, or simply doesn't play at all) and this problem slowly worsens the more I use them.
With the latest pair I've bought the pink half sphere of one of the earphones has come loose from the silver bit and has to be clicked back in.
I'll admit that I mostly keep my headphones knocking about in the bottom of my handbag- but i've never subjected them to extreme force/weather. My opinion is that these are great for the price, but if you want your headphones to last more than 6 months- i'd definitely look to spend a little more.
