My PX200s have served me well for several years now but the ear pads were starting to show their age with bits of the black leatherette stuff flaking away. As the headphones themselves still sound great I thought I'd try these rather than throwing the lot in the bin.

Inside the package you just get the two pads in a small bag bearing a Sennheiser sticker, and no instructions. The old pads simply pull off and as you remove them you notice there is a lip on the plastic frame and the inside of the pads simply fits over the lip. It takes a few seconds to fit each but with a bit of patience and both hands they're easily fitted and are secure. Once on, the sound is unaffected, and my headphones will last me a good few years more.

Was just abut to throw out PX100, just because they were looking a little (a lot!) worn. Had thought that the pads were built into design...not so... with new pads like new and able to enjoy my ipod without having spent vaste sums of money on equivalent quality headphones.

Great product - does exactly what I bought it for, although I have to say they are very difficult to put on - but that's more to do with the necessity of their being very tightly streched over the headphones. Very quick delivery. Nuff said!

Save your money and get the open foam earpad replacements for PX 100. The sound quality difference is noticeable (more echo)

PX100 were meant to be open ear cups not the closed like these are. The other reviewers didn't mention this and I failed to think of it until I bought these as a replacement for the standard ear pads that started falling apart after 4-5 years.

If you have the noise canceling version...pxc 250 300? then these should be fine.

My Sen' PX200's had become a bit 'tired' over the years especially the ear pads. I was almost at the point of ditching them and getting a new set. Saw these and, together with a bit of 'tightening up' etc around the hinges, thought "just the job". Didn't expect much for the price of a bottle of cheap plonk but have to say they are very good quality, fit perfectly and give my old much loved PX200's a new lease of life. Arrived promptly (2 days, with free postage). Top marks from this happy bunny :)

As the leatherette finish was crumbling on my Senns I thought it was time to treat myself to a new set of headphones. Then I saw the price of them in their latest manifestation! Fortunately I also saw the price of these replacement leatherette ear pads, it was a no brainer!
My favourite earphones are restored to their former glory and I no longer need to clean my ears out with cotton wool buds after using them. A Win-Win situation I'd say.

These are well made and, when fitted, look identical to the fixed padding under the top of the headband of my PX-200s. However, they are certainly not identical to the factory-fitted ear pads. This may be because Sennheiser have modified them for the Mk II version, or because they are not actually OEM. If they are not genuine Sennheiser, then they are certainly very good clones, so I won't be losing any sleep over that.

Fitting them was easy (once I realised that turning them inside-out was the way to go) and they have not modified the sound too much. There is a slightly darker colouration but the detail is mostly still there. These changes are unsurprising since they are marginally thicker/heavier than the old pads. So, not a huge change in acoustic character and a bonus for bass fans (which I am not) - but fine overall.

For listening on my phone, they are still more than adequate and confirm the PX-200s as a wise choice all those years ago. For serious over-ear time, I use big power-hungry reference headphones and a dedicated DAC, but that is hardly practical on-the-go. Also, a phone playing only 256Kbps AAC files would not be my source of choice anyway!

I love my PX200 period, and it has been with me for a very long time and still working like the first time I bought it. Except for the Ear Pads, which slowly but surely disintegrated in front of my eyes.
First I was thinking to buy an entirely new Headphone, but when I shopped around Amazon, I couldn't believe how expensive they are, even the one equivalent to PX200 - PX200 II costs more than £50. I think I bought mine for about £30 that time.
Fortunately I found this replacement Ear Buds, I immediately jumped to it!
A little bit of advance warning, the package didn't come with manual how to replace the Ear Buds. It took me a good few minutes to actually found how to do it.
It's actually quite simple, you just need to 'pry' out the old one, take it out from the back of of the speaker. And then put the new one in. That's it! Done!
Now my Headphone is like new :) Awesome!
