If you're the kind of person who instinctively reaches for the BASS BOOST button on your stereo, then these headphones are for you.

The bass is almost overwhelming at times and tends to overpower the sound. The tone seems very "warm" in general and the sound lacks the clarity of more expensive phones. Comparing these to some other similar priced phones these sound a little "veiled" but at the same time seem the bring you closer into the music - I'm sure there's an audiophile term for that but I don't know what it is.

In terms of design they get a big plus for being EXTREMELY comfortable to wear for long periods. They also have a ridiculously long (10ft or something) cable which I like.

In general I think for crisp and accurate music reproduction these are not the phones to get, but the heavy bass and comfort make these my phones of choice for gaming.

I've had a pair of these for over 4 years now and although the sound is good for the price you will find that the ear cups grip with the headband loosens. Having to keep lifting the ear cups back up to your ears (if moving your head about such as simply web surfing) every 15 minutes or so is a pain but for the price they're good.

To surmise. Good ear cups but very bad head band design. Not for the larger head either. Get the 380's.
