Aspergers from the point of view of real people with the condition - intelligent, soul-searching and enormously helpful in showing how the author and his fellow "autistic" friends cope with the world. My sons are both autistic - the older is 19 and struggling to integrate. I found the book helped me to understand more fully how it feels for him and he found the shared issues and experiences made him feel less unique and alone.

Extraordinary insight into Autism.

Some interesting observations that will really aid my understanding as my child gets older.

An insightful, compassionate and well written book by a man with excellent communication skills. Nazeer himself was struck by how un-autistic he appeared when writing this.

He describes individuals who have overcome many of their difficulties through education, family support, maturation, intelligence and bravery. Although he focuses on some unusually talented people he is honest about the challenges they have yet to overcome and also describes people who struggled greatly.

This is an inspiring read for those living with Asperger's and a thought provoking read for anyone interested in how we communicate socially.
