I have never read any of Simon Shaw's novels and stumbled across this novel by chance. It is definitely the best book I have read in a long time, I really emphasised with Grace and worried about what was going to happen to her. I read this book over the weekend and didn't want it to end. Since reading this book I have now purchased Killing Grace and hope it is of a similar quality. An excellent read - not to be missed.
