Got this to use as I am new to selling, and it is a really good guide of all foundation sales skills, from first approaches to new clients through to meetings, questioning, dealing with objections etc - all the basics covered. Very easy to read in simple chapters and quite inspriring too! I would recommned this as a good starting point - not too much theory.

A very easy book to read and take in. A lot of valuable information packed in with no padding or waffle.

Selling Secrets covers how and why people buy, defines the selling cycle and outlines the steps from identifying potential customers through to closing the sale and what to do after closing to maintain the relationship with the customer.

Although this book seems to be aimed primarily at people working in sales who want to improve their performance, it is also relevant for people in one-person companies or partnerships with no dedicated sales staff, where they have to perform that role themselves amongst other responsibilities.
