As a card carrying selfish pig I am delighted to endorse this all too accurate book for the small fee offered (Al Murray)

One of the funniest cartoonists in Britain (The Times on DIY DENTISTRY)

Andy Riley can reasonably claim to be an heir to Heath Robinson . . . he is extraordinarily inventive (Sunday Telegraph on DIY DENTISTRY)

One of the country's funniest cartoonists . . . a hoot but not for the faint-hearted (Daily Mirror on DIY DENTISTRY)

It's the funniest, bunniest book I've ever read (Elton John on THE BOOK OF BUNNY SUICIDES)

Hilarious, heartwarming and ever so sweetly mean (Simon Pegg on GREAT LIES TO TELL SMALL KIDS)

Brilliantly researched. The most important book of the year (Hugh Grant on THE BOOK OF BUNNY SUICIDES)

What kind of sick mind finds humour in such cruelty? (The League of Gentlemen on THE BOOK OF BUNNY SUICIDES)

Sadists of all ages will absolutely love it (Daily Telegraph on THE BOOK OF BUNNY SUICIDES)

I bought this book for my sister for Christmas, but I have been a fan of Andy Riley's books for a long time. I have to say his ingenious animal books do stand out more for me than his Lies to Tell Kids ones, but maybe that is just because they tend to be a little more twisted.

Selfish Pigs will raise a good few chuckles and while it does not quite match up to the Bunny Suicides it comes a very close second.

Andy Rily's pigs are rude, intolerably selfish and pretty ugly too. And as suggested by another reviewer, piglet-loving younger sisters may not fully appreciate the underlying charm of this book. But do give it to your brother, he'll love it.

Really fun to read, but after 30-40 pictures becomes repetitive and not that imaginative.
I like how the pigs are drawn, they look really very nasty.

Pay attention that the book is smaller than for example Cyanide and Happiness: Ice Cream and Sadness, it is really small-sized.

"Selfish pigs" can be a great present for you younger brother, but don't expect much from it really.
