This is a great book - easy to read and follow the instructions. It is important that we stop using so many chemicals in our homes for the sake of our healths and the planets, and this is the book to help you do it. Cheap easy available everyday household items create marvellous cleaners and save us a fortune into the bargain.
If you care about your health and the health of your children and the planet we call home buy this book and use it - buy it for all your friends and relatives.

We have read or used a few of these books.
This is by far the best. We dont need to bother with any more.
Simply laid out, easy to understand and unpretentious. It works too.
It should be entitled 'The Household Cleaning Bible'.
It is our bible, that is when we can get it back from our Daughter.

This is the best book I've found of cheap and easy (and green) ways to clean.
If you're interested in being kind to your purse and/or the environment, this is great.
It covers cleaning with vinegar, sodium bicarbonate, borax, lemons, and others - and it tells you quantities to use, and gives "recipes" to make your own cleaners.
I'm going to buy this as gifts for friends!

Overstates the dangers of chemicals
The fact that it states that ethanol (i.e. alcohol) is dangerous because it's a central nervous system depressant makes me question whether everything else has been exaggerated. Read more
