5.0 out of 5 stars Nuggets of information 24 Jan 2011
By Tegan
Format:Paperback
A great little book, with lots of nuggets of information. If you like you little party fun facts, bits of information that you can dip in and out of and wow people at parties then this is the book for you. Great little collection of stories highlighting the weird and wonderful world of animals. When reading this book it made me want to google the animals it mentioned to see if I could find more information or even just to look at the animals referenced. I thought it was a great little read.

Each section was long enough to present you with the facts whilst also short enough you could dip in and out this book, and also remember (hopefully) some of the facts mentioned. It was well written with plenty of wit to keep you going, and the style of writing was both informative and interesting. Worth having a book like this on your shelf, if you want to wow people with little nuggets of weird information.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous coffee-table or bedside dipper 29 Aug 2012
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
A great book! Funny and authoritative, well written and easy to absorb. Full of really interesting and weird facts about the natural world that make one think and frequently laugh out loud. A mine full of gems that's perfect to dip into, either on your coffee-table to share with the rest of the family or on your bedside-table for a giggle before you settle down for the night. In my view, this book is a must-have if you're even moderately interested in the biology, particularly animal psychology and the relationships between the species, animal and plant alike.
