I bought this book for my teenage son as I thought it might boost his confidence. However I was not aware that the book dealt with self esteem issues relating to girls - not very useful for me as I don't have any daughters! The book dealt with all sorts of issues in a chatty way which would be easily understood by this age group. Although many of the issues are common to both boys and girls, my 17 year old son was put off immediately and although some of the information would have been useful to him - in my opinion - he refused to read it.
