5.0 out of 5 stars Stevie Smith, 26 Jul 2002
By A Customer
It amazes me that no one has written a review of this, especially as Stevie Smith's poems -- especially "Not Waving But Drowning" are well known. This book (which also contains her own illustrations) proves that Stevie was not just a comic poet (although her poems are funny), but one with an immense amount of knoweldge about human feelings -- especially about feelings of neglect, or missed oppertunities.

This year is the perfect year to read Stevie Smith becuase it is her 100th Anniversary...
