Bought this product to help my daughter with her art photography coursework. Good value for money and good product for her level as didn't want to spend a large amount of money for "photoshop" not knowing how much she would need it and how much time she would have/take to learn all the functions on it.
Amazon Verified Purchase
Purchased this to replace older type that ceased to work with my new computer. Very different from the simpler previous version, it takes a while to figure it out, but eventually it is starting to do the job of the last and so much more. In fact, most of the options are way above me actually....

Searched around to find something to fit the bill, this software has all the right components that would allow you to do simple fixes and enhancements with a pretty good WYSIWYG type interface. It also supports some of the more advanced messing with layers type manipulation provided by some of the top end products. The more "teccie" functionality does look very similar to the free Linux based GIMP (graphical image manipulation program) tool but as above, carries some nice easy to use fix tools.
I had some odd installation issues on my PC which I hadn't expected and logged a service ticket with the manufacturers. Very polite folk and quite responsive. They were as helpful as they could be, but in the end were not able to resolve the issue. The issue does no affect what I need to product to do, so left it. Not bad for the price and easy to get some quite dramatic results. No so keen on the album component where the likes of Picasa are far more adept.
