Received today (16th Dec). On first opening the dusky bronze metallic presentation box the watch looked fine, on taking it out I immediately noticed that it had a lightness to it, this is NOT sterling silver, no hall marks at all. It is probably a base metal covered with silver-tone finish. The face is 3/4 inch across and there is no numerals on it, the 4 tiny diamonds are at 12, 3, 6 and 9 time indicators, if you buy this watch for someone with bad/poor eyesight they will definitely not be able to read the time.
I honestly, can't say that the RRP of £49.99 is worth it, for a tenner it ain't bad.
Also, it is extemely easy to adjust the size of the clasp on the bracelet, should the watch be too big. All you have to do is unclip and remove with your fingernail one of the slide clasps, no tools at all, this leaves one on the bracelet with which to close it. Should this still be too big, then you can move the pin on the slide clasp up to make the bracelet smaller although you will need a blunt needle, etc to do this job, this is a tricky job for small steady fingers!
All in all, I would say that I'm a little disappointed with the watch - but as they say, you get what you pay for.....
