As a swiss watch collector, I admit to being a bit of a snob when it comes the to
lower end of the market. I've owned many £200+ Seiko's in the past but for various reasons never really loved them. However, as soon as I saw the images of this watch, I knew I had to have it! Aviation, diver and motorsport inspired watches are what float my boat.
It's up-to-the-minute styling, 42mm case and plenty of blingy highlights set this apart from a lot of dull PVD/DLC mens watches around. Meaning that it will go with sports/casual and smart clothing. Lume compound on hands and dial is sufficient aswell as long lasting.
One week on, and i havent touched my swiss watches at all, preferring to keep this on. Although, all is not rosy. There are some minor niggles:
*Strap could do with being thicker - seems a bit flimsy at the ends.
*Crystal is not full of glare but would be perfect if it had AntiGlare coatings.
*The numbers 1,5,7,11 are white - numbers 2,4,8,10 are silver. WHY??
In summary: a fashionable, well made and comfy watch with legendary Seiko accuracy.
(Note: the FC Barca version has maroon sub-dials and FCB badge, maroon stitching on strap)
