Amazon Verified Purchase
This Item is small enough to be put in a pocket. It runs off a 9volt battery and has two different tones in the Metronome mode and two different notes in the note reference mode. Mode selection is by a switch on the side of the instrument. Tempo is selected by turning a dial indicator to the desired tempo. The tick is loud and controlled by a rotary volume control, but there is no bell tone to mark the first beat. It has a folding stand, flashing red tempo light and a headphone socket.

This is an excellent little metronome and the price is attractive too. The sound is clear and loud enough for my pupils to find it difficult to ignore!
